Gripp Routines were created to provide structured input in areas where paper records or whiteboards would be used. The structured input allows for more context when capturing information alongside the ability to add conversational info that other methods such as SMS, WhatsApp and spreadsheets have difficulty doing. Gripp Routines make for easier and more organized methods of tracking information.

Gripp Routines are made to help farmers track data on their equipment, whether it be a quick check to confirm an asset’s status, a multi step maintenance task, inventory for parts, mileage counter, etc. Gripp is flexible to suit your routine needs. All you need to do is select the asset and tap “Request Routine” in your workspace.
This will present to you a form so that you can let us know what type of routine you need created for your asset, and we will be in communication with you to make sure we create the right routine for you.

Our routines can be offered in four formats: counter, quick confirm, status, and mini form.

Counter

The counter allows you to quickly increase or decrease the number of units being recorded for each asset with “+” or “-” buttons. If preferred, you also have the option to type in the number of units with your keypad. A counter is good for keeping track of data such as mileage, hours a piece of equipment is used for, and inventory counts.

Quick Confirm

The quick confirm is typically used to confirm that something was checked or completed. Most of our farmers use this to ensure that people routinely check oil or gas level for a piece of equipment. We often see this used to ensure routine checks are being done to keep up with guidelines and smaller maintenance expectations.

Status

The status feature is used to document the current status of an asset. We’ve seen farmers use this to check whether certain assets are on or off, workers currently on duty, and to document equipment in use. This feature is a quick way to check the current state of your assets.

Mini Form

The mini form is a great way to document specific routines that need to be completed across your farm whether it be maintenance, routine checks, cleaning services, etc. We’ve also seen the mini form be used for things like job applications and filing reports. The mini forms offer a combination of multi-select questions, written responses, and opportunities to attach media and can be used to suit your needs.

For all routines, any updates are kept on record. Who, what, when, and where routines were completed and updated are always documented so that, if necessary, you can have acute awareness of everything that happens on your farm. The goal with Gripp is to move away from paper record keeping so that all the information you need in order to successfully run your operation is easily accessible, organized, and can be kept in one spot. Gripp takes advantage of technology so that you can do more with less.
