Gripp has two ways of addressing information: structured and unstructured. For unstructured information, we provide notes and reports. Notes and reports are documented informally using pictures, videos and conversational chats. All you need to do is enter a quick blurb about what you’re seeing, add a photo for your team to reference, and give it an optional name.
Notes come in handy when you’re collecting important information about an asset, like tire sizes, tree species, or anything else that might be considered useful information. Reports are created to denote issues that need to be addressed, whether emergency repairs or canary issues that must be fixed eventually. Reports go through Gripp’s lightweight - red, yellow, green status to denote open tasks versus those already addressed. Notes and reports have their own chat stream so that your staff can communicate like group text messages or WhatsApp and stay up to date via notifications. This ensures that everyone on your team remains available to answer questions and stays on the same page as issues get resolved – with all information centralized for everyone to learn from.
For times when you need more structured information, we provide Gripp routines, which contain more detailed data collection in the form of questions to answer. Gripp has a range of questions that can be asked:
- Single or multi select check boxes
- Numerical input
- Textual input
- Media (pictures, videos)
- Signatures
- Other Gripp Routines, and more
Gripp Routines are often exported and used in other applications or as a basis for audit, compliance and inspection records required by 3rd parties.
Gripp has you covered with very flexible and easy to use methods for tracking your operation.
